Service: Handyman type work: take down some curtain rods, put shades.
I'm absolutely thrilled with the service provided by Jason from Jason Hall. He was incredibly quick to respond and even showed up on the same day, tackling three different tasks right off the bat, including a sudden plumbing issue. Jason is not only responsive but also one of those genuinely good people you're always hoping to find. He even installed railings for me, coming up with a creative and affordable solution that perfectly fit my needs.
As an expat, it's so crucial to have someone reliable, and Jason has been just that—helping me locate my water irrigation system and now taking on the renovation of my studio. His payment terms are fair; he doesn't demand all the money upfront and works with a fantastic team. I couldn't recommend him more for any handyman work!

Service: Painters, renovation and repairs
I recently hired Marcio from Oren for some renovations, painting, and repairs. I must say, the service was very good—Marcio was incredibly professional throughout the entire process. What impressed me most was how clean the space was left after their work. I would definitely hire him again without a second thought. From start to finish, it's a solid 10 out of 10 on every aspect. Not only is his service excellent, but Marcio is also kind and friendly which made the whole experience even better.

Service: Painting my apartment, took of some shelves, putting up tiles
I recently hired Iris from SheDoes to help with various jobs in my new apartment in Portugal. Originally, I just needed some painting done, but Iris was able to take on much more—building and removing furniture, tiling, and even coordinating other tasks. The project is still ongoing; she's methodically working through my list of work. What stands out is her organization skills; she shares a template that keeps everything clear, including steps and pricing. So far, the painting is complete and the next phase is about to start.
She's efficient with her time—no dawdling at all—which makes me feel like I'm getting good value for her hourly rate. Plus, being a native Portuguese speaker, she's been invaluable in helping me communicate with plumbers and electricians that are also coming to help. Her English communication skills are excellent too. Overall, I'm really pleased with how the project is going, thanks to Iris!

Service: Fixing a pipe that was leaking water
I recently used AtriumLX, and Shahar was the service provider. The service was really fast and good, which I appreciated. There was a water leak from a pipe, and he fixed it efficiently. We communicated in English even though he speaks Russian as well; he seemed more comfortable in English, and that was fine for me, it was still super clear. He explained everything thoroughly and arrived on time without any delays. Overall, the cost was reasonable for the quality of service provided!

Service: He had to fix a bad job from a previous builder both in the bathroom and basement due to poor worksmanship.
I've renovated several places back when I lived in London, so I know how important it is to find a trustworthy builder. Faiek from Construction by Faiek Peck really stood out for his exceptional work. His quote was accurate and he completely understood the specific way my husband wanted the tiles laid - he nailed it. We had an issue with our bathroom that could have been costly, but Faiek fixed it without breaking anything, saving us money in the process. He's become our go-to guy for ongoing work because he consistently stays within schedule and budget. I trust him with everything; he's truly amazing at what he does.

Service: Helped with my roof, with a moving, installing a deck and even hanging pictures
I've called on Matt from M-worx several times for various tasks around my house, and he's always done a great job. Whether it's fixing the roof, assembling furniture, or even helping me move, Matt has proven to be a reliable and versatile handyman. I appreciate how he leaves the place clean after the work is done and his prices are reasonable too.
Most of the time it's just him, but occasionally he brings a helper or two when needed. The excavation work he did for my wooden deck was tough but finished as promised within the estimated time frame. One thing that really stands out is that Matt is consistently punctual; he always shows up on time.
